Free delivery only applies to the specified local area as confirmed in the Delivery section on this  site.

Cancellations or alterations to orders need to be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled delivery.

All floral arrangements shown are a guide only to the style of flowers that will be delivered. These may vary according to seasonal availability. 

Any reports of damaged flowers and gifts need to be made within 24 hours from date of delivery.

Rickety Gates guarantees the freshness and quality of every order. Each arrangement is created professionally and lovingly. If you’re not 100% happy with our workmanship, we want you to let us know.

Every effort will be made to deliver on the date requested and at the preferred time.

Any feedback should be made within 48 hours of delivery.

SECURITY MEASURES

Secure online payments and processing of credit card orders on this website is provided by PayPal.

REFUND POLICY

At Rickety Gates no order leaves our premises unless we’re 100% happy. And we want you to feel likewise.

However, in the unlikely event that there’s a problem with your order, such as damage in transit, non-delivery, or any other problem please inform us as soon as possible. A refund will be provided if Rickety Gates has not lived up to the agreed reasonable expectations.

If you wish to cancel an order once it has been placed, a full refund will be provided if the order is cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the date of delivery. Refunds for credit card orders are made less a $10.00 administration fee to cover bank and internet charges. We are unable to offer a refund on the scheduled day of delivery as the flowers and gifts will already be in production or in transit to you.

Please be careful when placing your order to make sure that the delivery name and address is that of the recipient, and not your own as the sender. We can't be responsible for orders that are mistakenly addressed to the sender, and cannot refund in such cases, as the order will have been filled and delivered.

Any requests for a refund must be made within 24 hours of delivery to Rickety Gates by phone or email.

PRIVACY POLICY

Rickety Gates is committed to compliance with privacy laws. These laws protect the privacy of personal information our business holds on customers and other individuals with whom we deal. We respect the privacy of our customers, the privacy of our business contacts and the privacy of our employees.

Rickety Gates respects privacy and is committed to complying with the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. This website privacy policy explains briefly how we handle information.

2. How do we use personal information we collect?

If we collect personal information from customers, suppliers or others, we may use it to:
– provide you with our products or services, or with other information you have requested
– communicate with you about special orders or other business-related activities.

If you agree, we may use your contact details to notify you about new products or services or promotions from time to time.  We may also undertake customer surveys to collect statistics about our customers for research and product development purposes. These surveys help us to develop new products and services to meet your needs. Whether or not you participate in these surveys is your choice. We do NOT provide or sell customer details to third parties under any circumstance.

3. Access and correction

Under the Privacy Act, you have a right to seek access to information which Rickety Gates holds about you (although there are some exceptions to this). You also have the right to ask us to correct information about you which may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.
